Our client has a high profile, is committed to safety, driving efficiency, providing quality products and excellent customer service.  Reporting to the SA Business Manager, your role is to deliver the State’s business sales revenue and margin for SA and continue to proactively grow the company’s business in line with Company set strategy and objectives.  This will entail proactively leading, developing, coaching, and working closely with your Sales Team, proactively promoting the Company in the marketplace, educating customers on new products, building relationships with Key Customers, setting an example to your team in providing a high-level customer service culture and continuous improvement focus. Ultimately, you will be responsible for the State’s performance, sales, profit, and market share growth, and adding value through input to the business strategy as a Senior Executive in the business. The ideal candidate will have a proven background as a Sales Manager working in the Residential Building Products space to successfully leading an external sales team in achieving sales budgets / targets / KPI’s.  Experience in selling “made to order” products will be well regarded but not essential (ie windows, roofing, trusses, technical systems etc as you will understand the challenges associated in this type of business). However, you must demonstrate:  where you have successfully targeted, and built new relationships with Key customers (Major Builders), building on existing relationships and business, achieving excellent sales results, excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, the ability to be strategic and commercial, being analytical, IT literate (Excel, ERP and CRM), knowing how to drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and performance.  You will also demonstrate being an effective problem solver, a person who leads from the front and does what they say, relationship and results oriented, energetic, proactive and resilient.  This is a great opportunity to work with a major manufacturer where you can apply your skills and truly influence. quoting reference 401997c/RN Nayler Executive specializes in Executive Recruitment within the Building, Electrical, Engineering and Industrial sectors
