This is an opportunity to join a highly respected and long-established supplier of advanced manufacturing technologies, representing globally recognised CNC Machine Tools and engineering solution brands to some of Western Australia’s leading industrial and mining-focused businesses. Based from your home office in Perth, you will take ownership of the WA territory, partnering with manufacturers, heavy engineering operations and mine-centric industries to deliver tailored production and machining solutions that improve capability, efficiency and performance. This is not a transactional sales role. We are seeking a technically minded consultative Sales Engineer capable of building trusted relationships, identifying opportunities and working closely with customers to solve complex operational and manufacturing challenges. The Opportunity Working across a broad portfolio of premium manufacturing technologies and engineered solutions, you will: Manage and grow an established Western Australian territory Develop strong relationships with manufacturers, engineering firms and industrial customers Identify and convert new business opportunities across heavy engineering and mining-related sectors Consult with key decision makers including Production Managers, Engineering Managers, Manufacturing Leaders, Procurement and Business Owners Recommend tailored machinery and engineered solutions aligned to customer needs Prepare proposals, quotations and commercially viable solutions Work collaboratively with technical specialists and supplier partners to deliver best-fit outcomes Maintain visibility in the market and build long-term partnerships About You You may currently be working as a: Sales Engineer Technical Sales Representative CNC / Manufacturing Specialist transitioning into sales Capital Equipment Sales Professional Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineer with strong commercial acumen Most importantly, you will bring: Experience selling into manufacturing, heavy engineering, mining, industrial or technical environments Strong commercial and relationship-building skills The ability to communicate confidently with technical and operational stakeholders A consultative, solutions-focused sales approach Self-motivation and the discipline to work autonomously from a home office A genuine interest in engineering, manufacturing and production improvement What’s On Offer?
