About the work unit / facility Ingham Health Services / Rural Hospitals Service Group / Ingham Ingham Health Service provides an integrated service encompassing a range of community-based services, provision of Allied Health services and traditional hospital-based services of an Inpatient ward, an Emergency Department, a limited range of surgical procedures and a range of support services including X-ray, Pharmacy, Administration and Operational Services. The Rural Hospitals Service Group covers the geographical areas of the Burdekin, Charters Towers, Dalrymple, Hinchinbrook, Flinders and Palm Island Shires and includes some facilities within the Cassowary Coast Shire and Townsville City. (Nurse Grade 5) 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available About your opportunity The role of the Registered Nurse is to provide direct nursing care utilising clinical skills, education and support to patients/clients and nursing staff within the Ingham Health Service to ensure the provision of best practice and quality patient care. Requirements: Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory. Nursing: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate. Shift Workers: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, which will include participation in an on-call roster. On-call: Appointees may be required to participate in an on-call Driver Licence: This position requires the applicant to possess an appropriate license to operate a Class C (car) motor vehicle.
