Registered Nurse to General Practice Goulburn Medical Centre Mooroopna, Shepparton and Goulburn Valley VIC Nursing to General Medical and Surgical (Healthcare and Medical) Part time 36 to 50 per hour A well-established general medical practice in Mooroopna is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a supportive and collaborative team. The Position Permanent part-time position (days negotiable 2-4 days per week), casual role considered. Attractive salary will be offered to the suitable candidate ( 36- 50 per hour, as according to skills and experience, previous higher salary will be matched). You will work closely with GPs and the team, contributing to high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Administering intramuscular and subcutaneous injections, as prescribed by doctors Checking blood glucose and recording results Supporting chronic disease care planning and conducting health assessments Assisting and supporting GPs with minor procedures Wound care and management Childhood immunisations and adult vaccinations (training and supervision will be provided) Performing ear syringing (training and supervision will be provided) Performing ECGs and other out-patient investigations (training will be provided) Management of recall and reminder systems Stock control, maintenance, and ordering Infection prevention and control procedures Maintaining cold chain management systems Performing cervical smears (training support will be provided) Iron infusions (intravenous cannulation training desirable) Selection Criteria To be considered, applicants must meet the following: AHPRA registration as registered nurse (essential) Experience as a Practice Nurse in general practice (desirable) Immunisation experience (desirable and highly regarded) Competence in intravenous infusions (desirable) Performing cervical smears (willingness to get trained) Strong computer skills Ability to work both independently and within a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated initiative, strong time management, and flexibility What’s on Offer Supportive and collaborative team culture Flexible working arrangements Attractive salary for suitable candidate Training for cervical smears and practice-based investigations Exposure to a broad range of clinical responsibilities Opportunity to contribute meaningfully to patient care in a community-focused practice
