Please note that our Immunization endorsed nurses must be Registered Nurses Have completed an accredited Immunization Qualification (not just COVID Vax training) 3. The Role As a Nurse Immuniser for Vaxicare, your primary responsibilities will include: Administering vaccines in workplaces in accordance with relevant Commonwealth, and QLD Health requirements and NHMRC recommendations. Travelling between different client workplaces throughout the day Documenting and maintain accurate records of vaccinations. Monitoring individuals and manage any adverse reactions or allergies Storing and Transporting vaccines in accordance with correct Cold Chain vaccine management as set out in Vaxicare's protocols (based on National Vaccine Storage guidelines). Communication effectively with both the clients and Vaxicare staff Your Availability There are multiple nurse vaccinator positions available and we can therefore accomodate a range of availabilities. While the ability to work for us can be for multiple days per week, the benefit of this job is the flexibility it offers to fit your part day shifts around your existing commitments. About You We are looking for a highly organised person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A nurse who will be able to establish good communication with clients and make them feel at ease during the immunisation process. Attention to detail, familiarity with IT processes and meticulous documentation skills are necessary to ensure accurate records and adherence to legal requirements.
