In this role, you will work as a key member of a multidisciplinary team, delivering specialist occupational therapy services to adults living with complex mental health conditions. Your work will support consumer recovery, enhance functional capacity and promote meaningful participation in community life. Key Responsibilities: opportunity to play a central role in the implementation of an Individual Placement and Support program, which is an evidence-based approach to secure competitive employment for consumers experiencing mental illness oversight and clinical management of the Occupational Therapy Clinic, including supporting the Occupational Therapy Team with peer reviewing assessments and reports conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop tailored treatment plans in community settings, including NDIS supports provide clinical supervision, guidance and mentorship to junior staff and students work collaboratively with consumers, families, carers and community partners to ensure holistic, person-centred care contribute to service development, innovation and quality improvement initiatives contribute to a positive multidisciplinary team culture and advocacy for the role of Occupational Therapy within the team To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification that entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
