Heavy Equipment Operator Khela Excavating Ltd. Location New Westminster, BC Salary 37.00 hourly / 37.5 hours per week Full time Early morning, Morning, Evening Starts as soon as possible Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience 3 years to less than 5 years Work must be completed at the physical Location. There is no option to work remotely. Responsibilities: Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to plan methods or sequences of operation Operate heavy equipment Read blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks Measure distance, volume, length and weight Operate computer controlled equipment Complete onboard and other logs Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment Prepare accident reports Secure special attachments to equipment Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment Perform minor repairs to equipment Until: 2026-03-19
