Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanic / Diesel Fitter Leschke’s Plant Services Brisbane QLD Automotive Trades (Trades and Services) Full time 38 to 50 per hour Leschke Plant Services is excited to welcome three new team members to our expanding business. We are looking for individuals with a can-do attitude who are hardworking, self-motivated, and excellent team players. Previous experience in the trade is essential. We welcome applications from qualified mechanics as well as 2nd, 3rd, or 4th-year apprentices. Leschke Plant Services operates from three locations, with current opportunities available in Crestmead, Lytton, and the Ipswich region. While these are primarily workshop-based roles, there will also be opportunities for field service jobs. Successful candidates will be provided with a company vehicle for both workshop commutes and field assignments. Qualifications and Experience Certificate 3 Heavy Commercial Vehicle Technology or equivalent (Qualified or Apprentice) Certificate 3 Mobile Plant and Technology or equivalent (Qualified Only) Applicant must be comfortable working independently on various makes and models of road transport gear (Western Star, Kenworth, Vawdry, Krueger) Cat, Cummins and Detroit expereince (Highly regarded) Applicant must be comfortable working independently on various makes and models of agricultural machinery (John Deer, New Holland, Case) Applicants with CAT and ET diagnostics experience will be highly considered Tasks and Responsibilities Servicing and general maintenance on road transport gear Earthmoving repairs, servicing and diagnostics across a broad range of machinery Workshop based Hydraulic, electrical work and repairs Fault finding/diagnostics Machinery fits outs/assembly Benefits for you You will jump straight into a strong, experienced team who are committed to helping you grow your professional career within the company.
