The Opportunity We are looking for a Chef/Cook to join our team at Myoora, Henty.in an aged care or healthcare setting Knowledge and experience in working to the compliance of the Food Safety Standards to HACCP level Strong time management and communication skills Understanding of residents rights, person-centred care and dignity of risk Ability to manage change efficiently and effectively Ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) Certificate III and IV in Commercial Cookery/Hospitality Food Safety Supervisor Certificate Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and Special Dietary needs Experience in Aged Care desirable Current First Aid Certificate desirable Excellent communication skills Team player who is highly motivated Availability to work weekend shifts Benefits and perks Competitive remuneration including eligibility for not-for-profit salary packaging options for permanent employees (up to 15,900 living expenses and 2,650 entertainment benefits, tax free) 33 to 36 per hour base salary.
