Location Kelowna, BC Salary 39.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week Full time Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend Starts as soon as possible Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: Experience an asset Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Responsibilities: Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions. Load and unload goods. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform brake adjustments. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
