Food Services Assistant Yea and District Memorial Hospital Yea, Yarra Valley and High Country VIC Kitchen and Sandwich Hands (Hospitality and Tourism) Full time Add expected salary to your profile for insights Yea and District Memorial Hospital (YDMH) is seeking Expressions of Interests Food Services Assistant 35 hours per week available Shifts are 10am to 3pm 7 days per week Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers Agreement 2021-2025 Closing Date: 19th December 2025 Classification: IN13 – IN14 (dependent on experience) We are seeking a motivated and reliable Food Services Assistant to join our Hotel and Food Services team. In this role, you will help prepare, deliver, and serve meals to residents and patients while ensuring high standards of hygiene and customer service. Key Responsibilities Meal preparation support: assist with basic food handling and plating. Meal delivery: distribute meals to wards and collect trays. Cleaning duties: maintain kitchen and dining areas to strict hygiene standards. Team collaboration: work closely with our cook, dietitian, and nursing staff. About You Friendly and approachable with excellent communication skills. Knowledge of food safety standards (training provided if required). Ability to work weekends.
